Judy Hakiel-Calcaterra is a Licensed Mental Health Therapist (LMHC) and Qualified Supervisor for registered interns in Mental Health Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy in the state of Florida. She holds a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, and a minor in Retail and Accounting, providing her with a strong clinical foundation and a practical understanding of systems, relationships, and behavior.

She has worked in outpatient mental health programs for individuals with chronic mental illness, private treatment centers specializing in dual diagnosis (mental health and substance use disorders), as well as State and Federal correctional facilities, halfway houses, and residential treatment programs.

Outside of her professional work, Judy enjoys spending quality time with her husband and daughter. She values staying active, traveling, and cooking, and believes in maintaining balance between mental, emotional, and physical wellness. Giving back to the community is an important part of her life—she has held multiple leadership roles within school PTO organizations and has proudly served as a Girl Scout leader for the past seven years, mentoring young girls as they grow in confidence and leadership.
